The surfing week distilled into overlapping circles.

First up, an apology for the Surf Bugle’s recent hiatus. The last post was on March 21, and that was re-hashed version of a night from 2014. Since then, well I’ve been busy. I’ve bought, refitted and sailed a yacht through the Pacific and started a new marketing agency, based in Bali. My second wife had our fifth child. My first, our sixth. A boat trip in the Mentawais was extended. I became a graphic designer. My DJ gigs expanded. And I learned to foil.

Did I fuck. I just prioritised paid work. But I couldn’t let the Surf Bugle go, and neither could the fans. Both of em. So I doubled down. Committed. A new strategy. New formats. Two posts per week. Subscribers get VIP content. So this is the relaunch, starting with Benn’s Diagrams. A circular look at what’s going on the surfing world. And it goes a little like this.
